In December of 2011, I was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, and Ductal Carcinoma in Situ. In 2012, I had a mastectomy followed by several months of chemotherapy. I am now a Helpline volunteer for the Living Beyond Breast Cancer organization giving women support and information regarding their diagnosis, treatment and recovery. I hope by sharing my story of breast cancer I can help other women, so they feel they are not alone.
